Num mês onde abundaram as edições, confesso que este abril ficou algo aquém das expetativas, no entanto deu para reunir mais de uma dezena de registos bastante dispares como é o caso dos Ifriqiyya Électrique e a sua fusão trance ancestral tunisina e o pós-industrial dos Putan Club, o estimulante art-rock dos Cowboy Flying Saucer ou o caldeirão sonoro dos Ezra Collective.
Destaque para o rebuçado reggae-yé-yé-bossa-nova de Claude Fontaine, a estreia aguardada dos Fontaines D.C. e o seu post-post melódico, a esquizofrenia sonora dos Fat White Family que continuam em alta assim como os Altin Gün e o seu ritmado funk psicadélico turco.
Tivemos ainda a agradável surpresa cosmic-psych-kraut dos W.H. Lung, o noisy-post-punk dos Hash Redactor, o bilíngue surf-garage-pop das Cherry Pickles, o grungy-garage rock das Sharkmuffin, e o enérgico indie-lo-fi-rock dos Witching Waves. De Itália surgiram os The Gluts com um noise-rock a piscar o olho ao shoegaze, os instrumentais ethio-jazz com soul e rock à mistura dos The Budos Band garantem um gingar de anca e por fim o psicadelismo em múltiplas formas a cargo de Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation.
